Boats of HYC
There are a variety of boats sailed in Howth Yacht Club ranging from small dinghies to large keelboats. Whatever you're searching for, there is a perfect boat for you.
If you would like to go sailing but don't have your own boat, you can charter one of the Club boats. We have a fleet of 5 J80's8 Laser Picos, RS Feva, 3 420's and 12 optimists, that are available for hire. If you'd like to learn more about chartering, select the boat you'd like to charter and click on the charter option and follow the steps.
If you would like to continue or take up dinghy sailing, have a look at our dinghy pathway which will help you in choosing which boats to look at depending on your interests. There is also more information on each of the dinghy classes that are sailed in Howth Yacht Club.
If dinghy sailing isn't for you we have a wide range of keelboat sailing activities ranging from high performance racing all the way to easy cruising. There's sure to be something for you to get you out on the water and enjoying our sport. Have a look through each of the class descriptions and take your pick.
