ICRA Trailers and Berthing
Trailers
Thanks to the Harbour Master, we have an area at the West Pier for free road trailer storage. Map to follow
Please bring a trailer wheel or hitch lock as the storage area may not be locked at all times.
You may not leave your road trailer at HYC or in the public parking spaces outside the club. You may be issued with a parking fine for leaving trailers in parking spaces.
Fingal Co. Council will help with traffic management when retrieving your trailer at the end of the regatta.
Lifting in:
When arriving by road, and when pre-booked with the HYC marina office, a free lift in and out is available on the HYC marina cranes Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th September via [email protected] or call on 01 - 8392777
There is no lift in after 20:00hrs on 7 September, 2023.
Berthing
Free berthing will be available in the HYC marina or commercial harbour from the 7th to 10th September. Space in the commercial harbour will be allocated by the HYC marina office.
For those attending the J Cup there are a small number of berths at reduced visitor rate for the 10 day intervening time. These berths will be for boats travelling from outside the jurisdiction who wish to remain on for the ICRA National Championships. (Max 6 slots available, proof of entry for J-Cup and ICRA needed to secure the 10 day berth.)
Please ensure that you book and pay with the marina office berthing & lifting outside of the regatta schedule.
Boats are asked to cooperate with harbour and marina staff at all times.
PS. Please note the Harbour Master does not allow crew to sleep on the boat if it is berthed in the fishing harbour.
