Principal Race Officer
David Lovegrove - International Race Officer
(This is David catching people under the black flag)
David will be working with two other highly experienced Race Officers -- Neil Murphy and Derek Bothwell -- and a Race Management team of over 20 people.
Protest Committee Chairman
Mike Butterfield - International Judge
Mike has four supporting judges helping him, afloat and in the jury room. This experienced team is looking forward to ensuring this event is sailed fairly.
Regatta Chairman
Jill Sommerville HYC Open Events Co Ordinator
Jill is normally spotted in HYC with her white dog Cloud in tow. A regular sailor and local, so will be able to help with any queries using the email address [email protected]
ICRA Chairman
David Cullen
(David needs no introduction to you as he’s your class chairman!)
David Cullen, is an outstanding Irish sailor in both inshore and offshore cruiser disciplines. He is known far and wide and is the driving force behind increasing recruitment of new sailors into the national fleet, helping to include more under-25 sailors and more female participation.
