In recognition for her service to the club and on behalf of all the members of HYC, former Commodore Breda Dillon was presented with an engraved Dublin Crystal vase by Commodore Berchmans Gannon and Brian Turvey this week.

Breda served as Commodore 2012-2013 and was chairperson of the club's Interim Management Committee for much of that period, not only representing the club as Commodore, but also running the day-to-day business for members. Following a short presentation in the club lounge which was attended by some former colleagues from the General Committee, she said that she was 'absolutely delighted to receive the gift from the members'.
