The Gibney Classic, a renowned 'Northside' keelboat regatta and an Open Event hosted by Howth Yacht Club, is back to ignite the waters of Dublin. Sponsored by the esteemed Gibney's Pub of Malahide — with the entry fee set at just €10 — ENTRY IS OPEN for what promises to be an unforgettable day of racing, camaraderie, and celebration.
 
The Gibney Classic isn't just an ordinary regatta — it's part of HYC's prestigious Fingal Series, attracting quality competition. As you prepare to set sail on Saturday, 5th August, mark your calendars and get ready for an adventure you won't soon forget. The event start sequences begin shortly after 11 a.m. that day, so be sure to arrive in time to experience the thrill of the first cannon blast and the dash to the Fingal racecourse. High tide will be at 15:18 that day, with a meterage of 4.06m.
 
Since its inception in 1992, the Gibney Classic has been an eagerly anticipated fixture in the sailing calendar, captivating sailors and enthusiasts alike. This year's edition is set to be a spectacular showcase of entertainment, determination, and sheer love for the sport.
