Marina Services & Facilities
Diesel is available at the crane pontoon during Marina Office opening hours. Information regarding the purchase of LPG and petrol is available from the Marina Office.
HYC’s diesel fuel service has been aimed at auxiliary sailboats and was not designed to service members and visitors with motorboats. In 2017 we are running a pilot to assess the interest in supplying higher fuel volumes to motor yachts and motor boats at competitive market prices whilst maintaining our services to sailboats with auxiliary engines.
The first 120 litres per boat at point of delivery will be charged at normal members or visitor auxiliary rates. Each litre above this will be charged at a volume discounted rate which compares favourably with rates from a delivery truck in the trawler dock which is far less convenient, less reliable and will often impede busy trawler traffic in the harbour compared to the convenience and cleanliness of the marina fuel dock.
The rate is for each single visit and must be booked 24 hours in advance to ensure there is sufficient fuel the following day. Rates are based upon current prices and may be adjusted without notice relative to the actual buying-price, which fluctuates.
For an additional service charge of €50 and with a pre-authorised credit card payment, members may request marine staff (if available) to bring the boat to the fuel dock, refuel and return it.
Crane and Cradle
The club crane is capable of lifting up to 15 tonnes and lift-outs can be arranged through the Marina Office. Crane charges relate to the boat's length and you can book it online from the below link:
A token operated laundry is operational 24-hours a day and tokens can be purchased in the Marina Office.
Fresh water is available at convenient points throughout the marina. Please turn off taps and replace hoses when finished.
A 220 volt electricity supply is available to all berths. Visitors are asked to contact the Marina Office before connecting.
Showers and changing rooms
The clubhouse provides full showering and changing facilities which are adjacent to the marina with access from outside and inside the building. Safety deposit boxes are also available to members and visitors.
