12 Nov: HYC Members Painting & Photography Exhibition

We are now accepting submissions for our biannual exhibition, which returns to the Asgard Room this November. A new addition for this edition is photography, which will be welcomed alongside our existing art categories.

 

Original paintings, photography, fine art prints and drawings may be submitted for selection, you can find the submission guidelines below.

Submission guidelines; 

 

A change for the latest Exhibition sees us welcoming Photography into the mix. Original Paintings, Photography, Fine art printing and Drawing may be submitted for selection this November. The date for delivery and collection of artworks is Thursday 5th November in the Boyd Room from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
 
Please consider the venue is a Family Yacht Club Dining Room when selecting your artworks for exhibit. Themes that include Sailing, Nautical scenes, Dining and Food elements along with 
Local views are preferred. No religious or political subjects will be permitted.
 
A maximum of 3 pieces per person. All pieces must be professionally framed (excluding 40mm deep edge canvases) with D rings and cording on the back ready for installation.
 
While every care will be taken in the handling and display of exhibits, Howth Yacht Club cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur.
