RIP Hilary Bell
The Commodore and Flag Officers regret to advise the members of Howth Yacht Club of the passing of Hilary Bell.
The deepest sympathies of the General Committee, staff, and members of HYC go out to the family and friends of Hilary in their time of grief.
Hilary Bell died peacefully on 16 August 2026 at home in Howth surrounded by her loving family.
Hilary was a wonderful person who will be dearly missed by her daughter Nicoline, son Dougal, daughter-in-law Danielle and adored grandchildren Freddie, Sebastian, Tadhg and Heath, as well as by Heather, Hilary’s extended family and her wide circle of dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.
No flowers please. Donations, if desired to St Francis Hospice.
A celebration of Hilary’s life will take place on Saturday 22nd August in Dardistown Crematorium at 1.30 pm.
