RIP Conor Murphy
The Commodore and Flag Officers regret to advise the members of Howth Yacht Club of the passing of Conor Murphy.
The deepest sympathies of the General Committee, staff, and members of HYC go out to the family and friends of Conor in their time of grief.
Conor passed away peacefully at his home on 5th May, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Conor will be dearly missed by his wife, Irene, his son Robin, daughters Caroline and Ali, her partner Antonio, daughter-in-law, Olwen, and son-in-law, Stuart. His adored grandchildren Sasha, Jamie, Rachel, Róisín and Ellen will miss him greatly. He will also be missed by his extended family and by his wide circle of wonderful friends and neighbours.

A celebration of Conor’s life will take place on Friday 8th May, in Dardistown Crematorium Chapel at 1:30pm.
