Once again we had a fine day for our final outing of the season, 'The Presidents Prize' at Sutton G.C. last  Friday,  8th October. With 31 players teeing off, there were some very respectable scores amongst us, however long-standing IEGS member, Tom Fitzpatrick emerged victorious, claiming the President's Prize. Tom was presented with the beautiful 'Audrey Mc Mullan' trophy by President Dudley  Hudson. The large turnout for dinner at Sutton enjoyed a very enjoyable night with good food and service from the very friendly staff.  

 

This outing is the last one for Captain Mary Fitzpatrick this year and she took the opportunity to thank her committee for the work put in during the year and promised some changes to the management of the society next year. I think most  members will be looking forward with interest to hearing more about these.
