Ireland's Eye Golf Society Captain Mary Fitzpatrick has obviously had some influence on the weather this year as the society enjoyed more fabulous sunshine for her special day. With 35 IEGC members teeing off for her Captain's Day at Malahide Golf Club, the course was in perfect condition despite some tricky greens which proved a bit difficult for some, however not enough to prevent Malahide member John McDonald from winning overall.

The dinner and prize giving was held in HYC where Sandra, Marcel and the team served up a wonderful meal which was enjoyed by a good attendance of members and partners.

Our next outing which will be the last one for this year is the President's (Dudley Hudson) Trophy which will be held in Sutton Golf Club on 8th October.
