Two HYC Fevas at the RS Inlands event in Blessington
29 July 2019
Aoibhin Farrelly and Mabel Jennings were 4th overall with Jamie and Archie Malcolm taking 6th place. Having scored two firsts on the last day, the girls were left wondering what might have been, after their first place on day 1 turned into a 7th during a finishing technicality that forced them to retrace their steps to refinish! On the other Feva, Archie Malcolm took a knock to the head during a gybe forcing them to pull out of the last race but hopefully back in action for the next event. The RS sailing community are loads of fun so looking forward to seeing the Feva class grow in HYC. It really is the perfect boat for those sailors looking for their next challenge after oppies!
