Howth Yacht Club’s new Family Fun Fridays got off to a great start last Friday, and it is only going to get better from here on out. These free evenings throughout the summer are aimed at ALL ages, from children to centenarians.

There will always be supervised sailing each evening, and then another water-based activity to whet your appetitive. This week we are offering introductory rib driving classes for adults. Don’t have a dinghy? – you can use one of our club Picos! These water-based activities are for those with wrinkles too - any adult member (and their guest) can come and join in. You are encouraged to book in advance if you can (click here) so that we can have an idea about numbers for safety boats, but do not let that deter you from sticking your head in to see what is going on.

This is of course a social night too.  For the children, the bar is offering free pitchers of Mi-wadi, and catering will be doing €5 per person dinners.  For the adults there will be our famous “Wings & a Pint” offer for €10 along with the usual Friday night menu and libations.

On these Friday nights we are asking members to invite non-member families and friends along to experience our great and fantastic sport. This week's event will be run by Sarah Robertson (087-161 2403)
