The Kavanaghs arrived safely in Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja after a nightmare flight with what seemed like a 'big gang' bound for Benidorm to celebrate Hen and Stag parties- a very colourful, raucous, drunken mob, some of whom were ejected before take- off and this was before 06.00am! The mind boggles!

Thankfully we were heading in the opposite direction - south to Torrevieja. The boat (La Lumiere) is in great shape - all cleaned and polished and ready to go. The engine started at the first turn of the key which is always a big relief. The weather is delightful - warm enough for shorts and T's during the day with warmer attire required in the evenings. We intend 'chilling out' for the next week or so before embarking on a cruise north to France and the Balearics.
