Countdown to Club Racing Starting 5 & 7 May
 
The countdown is on for the 2026 HYC Club Racing Season with Keelboats taking to the water from Tuesday 5th May and Dinghy racing getting underway on Thursday 7th May.
 
Sailors will notice that the Keelboat schedule is more intricate than usual due to tidal considerations in the fairway. As a result, there are a number of date and time adjustments, and in some cases, two races scheduled within the same week.
 
We encourage all competitors to review the full schedule closely and keep an eye on any changes. Notifications of any date and time changes will be sent throughout the season.
 
One date for the diary is Friday 10th July when keelboat racing will take place on the Friday evening, followed by a BBQ and entertainment - a double race week for all classes so all the more reason to party!
