The popular annual Double Handed race was held last Saturday 7th September on a sunny day with pleasant South Easterly breezes.

Thirteen boats took part in, five each in Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker, with three in Puppeteers.

The race began in about 10 knots and what looked to be a short race ended as quite a long one as the wind reduced in strength considerably. However the sun continued to shine and a great day was had by all both afloat and ashore.

Prizegiving was held in a sun kissed Lighthouse and here are the winners pictured with event's PRO Scorie Walls.
