Spend your summer on the water at Howth Yacht Club and share your love of sailing and watersports with others.
 
We’re looking for passionate, energetic instructors to join our 2026 training team at one of Ireland’s most vibrant and active sailing communities. If you dream of earning a living on the water, working with a fun and supportive crew, and helping others fall in love with sailing, this is the perfect role for you.
 
At HYC we run an extensive range of dinghy, keelboat, and powerboat courses for both adults and young people — from complete beginners to seasoned sailors. We’re on the lookout for instructors who bring enthusiasm, teamwork, and a genuine love of the sea to every session.
 
Our 2026 programme runs from early spring to November, offering a safe, friendly, and professional training environment with small instructor-to-student ratios. You’ll be part of a dedicated team supported by experienced management, receive team gear, access to subsidised instructor training, and enjoy plenty of camaraderie both on and off the water.
 
We’re hiring full-time and part-time instructors across a variety of roles, with flexible daytime, evening, and weekend schedules available:
