Splashdance made it 3 in a row last weekend winning non spinnaker 1 class at the Volvo Dun Laoghaire Week. This is their 3rd big win in a row after winning the Lambay Races at the start of the season and then ICRAs/Sovereign's Cup in Kinsale at the end of June. 

Splashdance will take a needed break before competing in the Jack Gibney at the end of the month and finishing up with the Autumn League at the end of the season.

HYC finishes Volvo Dun Laoghaire Week with wins by Checkmate XX, Outrajeous and Splashdance in their respective classes. After 4 days of great racing in the sun with wind (Usual for Dublin Bay!) the above secured top place in their classes. With over 350 boats entered this year the regatta turned out to be superb racing with great ensure entertainment after sailing. All 3 boats are on a running streak with having also been first in their respective classes in ICRA/Sovergins Cup Kinsale only 2 weeks ago.

Howth also had the following firsts overall with others getting podium positions:

• Starfish (1st IDRA 14s)
• Elder Lemon (Mixed Sports boats)
