Designed in 1897 and first built and launched in 1898, the Howth Seventeen Footer is the oldest one-design keelboat racing class in the world and is still racing today to its original design!

2013 Prizegiving Dinner.

This year's annual prize giving dinner was held on the 29th November and had over 100 'seventeeners' in attendance.

William Hogg and Class President Mark Lynch present Peter Courtney of 'Oona' with the Hogg Trophy.

Class Captain Eoghan 'Rocket' Ryan presents the Syringa Cup to Gillian Guinness of 'Isobel'.

Vice Captain Mary Faherty presents Jochen Whenski with a special trophy following his involvement in the de-masting of 'Zaida'.

Brian and Conor Turvey of 'Isobel' are presented with the Courtney Cup for overall season winners in 2013.
