Billy Morgan - Captain 2012
I am greatly pleased and honoured to take on the role of Captain of the Society for the coming season 2012. I hope to maintain the traditions and aims of the Society which are to foster comradeship and sociability amongst HYC members and associates through the medium of golf - and all that goes with it !

We usually have up to five or six outings in the year with visits to mostly northside clubs and the emphasis is always on enjoyment - for all levels of golfers, whether high handicappers or not so high.

The proposed outings and dates for 2012 are shown in the Fixtures section and these may be added to as the season progresses. We usually enjoy a meal afterwards, either at the club where we play or back in HYC.

This year we are making a special appeal for new members and to accommodate this our membership rules have been relaxed slightly. As well as current members and staff of HYC we now include former members and staff and of course their spouses.

The annual sub is a mere Euro Symbol40, with no joining fee, and the typical green fee for most of the outings is about Euro Symbol30.

So whether you want to develop your golf as an early stager or add a few outings to your existing schedule or just have some fun with like-minded HYC people, why not sign up with IEGS straight away. An application form and details are available below.

I look forward to meeting you in 2012.

Billy Morgan
