R.I.P. James (Jim) Owens
The Commodore and Flag Officers regret to advise the members of Howth Yacht Club of the passing of Club member James (Jim) Owens.
The deepest sympathies of the General Committee, staff, and members of HYC go out to the family and friends of James in their time of grief.

Owens James P. (Jim/Jess), Howth and formerly of Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow. Peacefully on 7th January 2025. Predeceased by his son Simon. Very sadly missed by his loving wife Kay, children David, Tim and Aisling, daughters-in-law Michele and Cindy, son-in-law Derek, his adored grandchildren Nicole, Simon, Fintan, Sorcha, Phelim, Glenn & Beth and his extended family and friends.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday, 10th January, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to the Church of the Assumption, Howth on Saturday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.
